Skill tests

Show what you can do in about twenty minutes.

Portfolios show finished work; these short tests show how you work. Each role has its own set. They run in your browser, you see your score right away, and clients see it when we introduce you. You can retake each test twice.

  • Typing speed

Type a short passage as fast and as accurately as you can. Measures words per minute and accuracy.

Who we're looking for

People who make online stores work.

Most briefs come from online stores and the agencies that run them. If your work lives here, we want to see it.

Another remote role? Apply anyway. E-commerce comes first, but it isn't the only work we place.

After you apply

Four steps, all of them handled by a person.

  1. 1

    Apply and take the tests

Your best work, your rate, your languages, and the short tests for your roles. About twenty minutes.

  2. 2

    We review your work

A person looks at what you've done and your scores. If it's a fit, we set up a short call.

  3. 3

    You join the network

Your profile stays private. Clients never browse it.

  4. 4

    Introductions

When a brief fits, we introduce you by email. You agree terms with the client directly.

What an introduction looks like

A real brief, with a budget, and why we thought of you.

  • The budget up front. No guessing whether the client can pay your rate.
  • Usually one or two others on the shortlist, not fifty bids.
  • The client's contact. After the introduction you talk to them directly.

You two should talk. The brand is relaunching three products in spring and needs someone to run testing and scale what works.

Why you: you scaled two beauty brands on Meta last year, and you work in German.

Fair both ways

What you can count on, and what we ask.

You can count on

  • No fees, ever. The client pays iince. We never take a cut of your rate.
  • A private profile. Shared only with a client we introduce you to, and only what's relevant.
  • Real briefs. Role, budget, timeline and languages, before you say yes.
  • Someone who knows your work. You're introduced by a person who has seen it.

We ask that you

  • Show real work. Live stores, campaigns and accounts, not only mockups.
  • Quote your real rate. The one you'd send a client, so introductions don't fall apart on price.
  • Reply to introductions within two working days, even if it's a no.
  • Tell us when things change, like your availability or your rate.

Questions

What freelancers ask us.

Do I pay anything?

No. Joining is free, and we never take a cut of what you earn. The client pays our fee.

Is work guaranteed?

No, and we won't pretend it is. We introduce you when a brief fits your skills, rate and languages. Some roles are in more demand than others, and we'll be straight with you about that.

What are the tests for?

They give clients something concrete next to your portfolio: how fast and how accurately you type, how carefully you copy order data, how you'd reply to a customer. They take about twenty minutes in total, and you can retake each one twice.

Can clients browse my profile?

No. Profiles are private to iince. A client only sees what we share when we introduce you, and only what's relevant to their brief.

Where do I need to be based?

Anywhere, as long as you work remotely and can invoice clients yourself. Most of the network today is in Europe and Turkey.

Can I change my rate or availability later?

Yes. Email us and we'll update your profile.
